Super Duty Dump Brace® Dump Truck Bed Safety Locks - DB-3.5SD (pairs)

$999.00

The Dump Stand® is a mechanical support device that clamps directly onto your truck’s frame, holding elevated dump beds securely in place during service work. Its high-grade, chain-free clamping mechanism allows one technician to install a pair in approximately 60 seconds, reducing setup time and limiting how long the raised bed remains unsupported.

Built for Heavy-Duty Dump Body Maintenance

Applications include:

  • Single-axle dump trucks

  • Double-axle dump trucks

  • Mining trucks

  • Dump trailers

  • Flat-tilt trailers

  • Forestry trucks

  • Chipper trucks

  • Rollback trucks

Chain-Free Design Built for Faster Setup

Patent-pending chain-free clamp design. High-grade bolts engage the clamping mechanism directly on the truck frame, reducing the need to wrestle with chains, hand rigging, or makeshift supports.

Improve Maintenance Efficiency
The defined one-brace-at-a-time process helps crews standardize setup and reduce preparation time before raised-bed maintenance.

Added Protection Beneath Raised Dump Beds
OSHA has identified unintended dump-body movement as a serious maintenance hazard. A properly installed mechanical support provides a physical backup before technicians perform inspection, service, or repair beneath a raised dump bed.

Clamps Directly to the Frame

CHAIN-FREE DUMP TRUCK BED SAFETY LOCK

Clamps Directly to the Frame

Hydraulic pressure loss, shifting weight, and unstable props can put technicians at risk beneath a raised dump bed. The Super Duty Dump Brace® DB-3.5SD uses a heavy-duty clamping mechanism to secure directly to the truck frame and provide independent mechanical support.

Frame-specific clamping helps reduce lateral movement compared with unsecured or loosely positioned support methods. Its direct frame connection also provides a more visible and repeatable support point during raised-bed maintenance.

  • Clamps directly to the frame, not the dump body
  • Rated to support up to 80,000 lbs. per pair
  • Chain-free installation with high-grade bolts
  • Fits standard frame flanges from 3½ to 5 inches

A Raised Dump Bed Can Become a Crush Hazard Without Warning

Unexpected bed movement often happens during routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. OSHA found that body props were missing or improperly used in most reviewed incidents, and in some cases, the props themselves failed.

31 ACCIDENTS OSHA identified 31 incidents involving the unexpected release or movement of an elevated truck bed during a 10-year review.
NEARLY ALL FATAL Nearly every elevated-bed incident identified in OSHA’s review resulted in a fatality.
MOST INVOLVED PROP FAILURE OR MISUSE Body props were not used, were installed incorrectly, or failed in the majority of the reviewed accidents.
3% CAUGHT BETWEEN BED AND FRAME Of 829 fatal dump-truck construction incidents studied from 1992–2007, approximately 3% involved workers caught between a lowering dump body and the truck frame.
